Flowers bring so much to our world. They can lift our spirits, transmit thoughtfulness and love, capture our senses by sight and scent and decorate the major events in our lives.
I am thrilled to have developed my floristry skills over the last 10 years through training at The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers in the UK and The Flower School New York, USA.

RANGE
I have decorated dinners, parties, funerals and weddings. I also annually compete locally and nationally in floral art competitions, some of which are RHS events. The competitions are challenging and stretch a florist’s skills and imagination. That is the fun of it and it keeps me on my toes. I can then transfer my competition floristry skills to the events that I decorate.
My passion with flowers is to receive the brief, take time to design unique and beautiful arrangements with appropriate engineering for their role and create wow-factor results with flair. I want my flowers to bring joy, interest, impact and memories.

FRESH OR SILK
I work with fresh or silk flowers, with tight or big budgets. For those who wish to really recycle their flowers I always recommend silks. There is such fabulous quality available these days that some of my silk flowers are on their third life after starring in two weddings and a Coronation, with more possibilities ahead. You can see photos on this page of silk dog collars that I created for a wedding in April 2023. Fresh flowers just would not have lasted in this role!

GET IN TOUCH
If you like what you see here and would like to discuss your event with me, please get in touch via my Contact page, or the contact form here. I accept just a few floral event bookings per year, in order to ensure appropriate attention and time to each.
I am convinced that the key to a really beautiful event is to find the best match of florist and host.
